These are the poppies growing in Flanders Field. The poppies represent the blood shed on the field when the soldiers were fighting in the trenches in the First World War.

This is the Lancaster Bomber. Used in the Second World War. Made in Lancaster. Discontinued in modern warfare since 1960. (4 French Squadrons flown the last Lancasters given to them by the British.)
